Waterfall Sideboard

The Waterfall Sideboard was designed and made for my own home in Harlaxton, giving me the freedom to develop a piece without the constraints of a client brief. Inspired by the clean lines and understated beauty of Scandinavian furniture, the design is deliberately simple, allowing the remarkable grain and natural character of the wych elm to take centre stage.

Handcrafted from solid wych elm with contrasting maple details, the sideboard combines practical storage with a restrained, minimalist form. The simplicity of the design is intentional: rather than competing with the timber, the proportions and detailing are there to showcase it.
